zu der Installation der aktuellsten Windows XP Sicherheitsupdates für den Dezember 2006 habe ich folgende Fragen >
Frage 1. > KB925398 ist ein Sicherheitsupdate für den Windows Media Player 6.4.
Auf meinem Windows XP Professional SP2 hat der aktuelle Windows Media Player die Version 9.00.00.3349.
Ich denke, dass daher die Installation dieses Sicherheitsupdates KB925398 nicht notwendig sein wird, bzw. gar nicht möglich ist.
Sehe ich die Sache richtig (... denn oft liegt da ja noch ein Hund begraben ...) ?
Frage 2. > KB926247 ist ein Sicherheitsupdate für Windows XP. Dieses Sicherheitsupdate konnte auf mein System nicht installiert werden.
Folgende Fehlermeldung wurde generiert >

Diesem Sicherheitsupdate fehlt mindestens eine Komponente, die auf meinem Rechner nicht installiert wurde und zwar ist das >

Um welche Komponente handelt es sich hier ?
Habt Ihr ähnliche Erfahrungen bei der Installation dieses Sicherheitsupdates gemacht ?

Frage 3. > KB925454 ist ein Sicherheitsupdate für Internet Explorer for Windows XP Service Pack 2.
Dieses Update konnte problemlos und ohne Fehlermeldungen auf mein System installiert werden.

Ich stelle mir nun die Frage, ob diese dreizehn "Error" Einträge bedenklich sind und weshalb diese Errors auftraten.
Habt Ihr auf Euren Systemen ebenfalls diese Error Einträge und seht die Sache gelassener als ich ... !?
Wie schon zuvor erwähnt, so konnte dieses Sicherheitsupdate ohne Auffälligkeiten auf meinem Rechner installiert werden trotz der dreizehn "Error" Einträge !
