Outlook2000 mails usw löschen

Hallo Leute,

ich hab ein Problem mit Outlook 2000 :
ich kann nur noch einzelne Mails, Kontakte usw. löschen oder verschieben. Sobald ich mehr als eine Datei markiere, und diese versuche zu löschen, erscheint lediglich noch das animierte Fenster mit den fliegenden Blättern. Outlook lässt sich nur noch über den Task-Manager abbrechen.
Wer kann mir helfen ?

Hallo Andreas,

den Tip hatte ich schon gefunden. Das Problem ist jedoch auf allen PCs aufgetreten. Wenn die jetzt alle neu-installiert werden müssen .....
Aufgetreten ist das Problem übrigens nach einer Fax-Software-Installation.

Warum ist das Entfernen mehrere Einträge unter Outlook nicht möglich?

Wenn man bei Einsatz eines Exchange Servers versucht mehrere Nachrichten im Client zu löschen und sich dabei der Client nicht mehr beenden lässt, so kann dieses mit nachfolgend beschriebener Vorgehensweise behoben werden:

SYMPTOMS

When you try to delete or move more than one message at a time, the client or clients appear to stop responding (hang). These symptoms are observed on all clients connected to the problem server.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior results when multiple Exchange Developer Kit gateways (for example, Internet Mail Connector, Fax gateways, Paging gateways) have been installed on the same Exchange Server computer and Performance Optimizer has not been run to set the required number of Background Threads.

WORKAROUND
==========

To work around this problem, first try to re-run Performance Optimizer and make sure that this server is identified as a Connector/Directory Import server.

If this step is not successful, a registry change is required. Complete the following steps to make this change:

WARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.

1. Run REGEDT32.

2. Select the following subkey:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/MSExchangeIS /ParametersSystem/

3. Either add or modify the value "Background Threads" and make it a REG_DWORD of value 20 hex.

4. Quit Registry Editor.

5. Restart the information store service and dependent services.
