MediaMonkey ist eine kostenlose All-In-One Jukebox. Sie können damit alle gängigen Audio Dateien abspielen und organisieren. MediaMonkey ist nicht nur zum Abspielen von Audiodateien zu gebrauchen, man kann damit auch CDs rippen, MP3s erstellen, ID3-Tags bearbeiten und über CDDB Titelinformationen aus dem Internet beziehen.

Anstatt des integrierten Players kann auch Winamp als Standard Player für MediaMonkey ausgewählt werden.

MediaMonkey erstellt automatisch Playlisten von oft oder selten gehörten Titeln. Dank Rating-System werden hier auch Playlisten aus den beliebtesten Titeln generiert. Es werden sogar Vorschläge für eine Audio- oder MP3-CD (74 Minuten) mit Ihren Lieblings-Songs gemacht.

MediaMonkey harmoniert sehr gut mit MP3 Playern, die man mit Dateien und Playlisten bestücken kann, und spielt fast alle Audioformate ab.
